THE VISITABLE STORAGE<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The storage facilities offer the opportunity to see a section of the Museum’s heritage, acquired from its foundation to the early years of the Twentieth Century. Almost 3000 specimens related to the collections of Zoology and Comparative Anatomy of vertebrates are displayed in the systematic order, based on the 1904’s historical catalogue.<\/p>\n

The conservation\u2019s status for some of the specimens show the results of the complex vicissitudes of the Museum,[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]a long history of movements and temporary exhibitions, that ends in this storage, where the specimens have been permanently located. The space\u2019s design ensures adequate environmental conditions for preventive conservation and, at the same time, it guarantees the use and accessibility of the collection with the ultimate purpose of being the main subject of study and research.<\/p>\n
